From the Scoutmaster's perspective:

This campout was to Dripping Springs Scout Camp, located near Clinton, Oklahoma. It is the first time any of us had been to this camp. Although it was fairly small, it was a very nice camp. Lots of trees and a nice stream running through the middle of it. We will have to check on the fishing and perhaps come back in the spring or summer. As a different twist to some of our campouts, we played a lot of games on this one. All of the games tested one or more Scout skills. The games included a blind-fold compass walk, knot-tying relay, nature hike, and tying a clove-hitch around a tree without getting close to the tree. We found out that while many of us did pretty good, all of us could use some work on these areas, especially in the knot-tying area.

We had Webelos visiting from Pack 599. They all seemed to have a good time and fit right in. Saturday was overcast all day. During dinner it started raining and it just kept raining harder. A little after lights out, the wind kicked up and it poured even harder. Luckily, everyone stayed pretty dry. The rain let up the next morning so that we were able to break camp without rain.
