The Scout Room

Troop 168 holds troop meetings in the basement of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in NW Oklahoma City. We have a wonderful space that is beautifully decorated with Scouting pictures and plaques reflective of the 40+ years of former and current Scouting excursions.

Members of CHUMC, David and Carole Ennis, have graciously donated a complete set of Norman Rockwell prints entitled “Scouting Through The Eyes of Norman Rockwell.” (containing 42 officially licensed Boy Scouts of America commemorative prints) Norman Rockwell was a true American artist which captured the history and images of Americana, most notably for the Saturday Evening Post. Rockwell was a lifelong support of Boy Scouts of America and used his talents to capture and create a number of works of art depicting scouts and scouting principles.
