On March 28, John D. led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Invocation at the Board of Oklahoma County Commissioner’s meeting.

Here is the prayer he led:

Lord we humble ourselves before you this morning to thank you.
We marvel at Your Creation and thank You for permitting us to live in it.
We thank You for the country You gave us to live in with the freedom to do the things we choose.
We thank You for our families and the love You have given us to share.
We thank You for the leaders in our community and the opportunity to be leaders as young people.
We thank You for the choice to search for the unknown, the excitement of discovering it and the ability to share it with others.
We thank You for this gathering today, and for the freedom we have to exchange information, discuss issues, and strive to make Oklahoma County a better place to live.
May we be always mindful of You, Lord.
