Mulberry River Canoe Trip

 

For our May '99 Venture Campout, we're planning a canoe trip on the Mulberry River

AGE AND RANK: Scouts must be 13 and have the canoeing merit badge - OR - their dad needs to be rated as intermediate in a canoe.
COST: $25.00 per person plus food
WHEN: April 30, May 1 & 2, 1999
WHERE: We'll be staying at Camp Newell.  Camp Newell was previously a Last Frontier Council Summer and Primitive Camp but is now private property we've can use.
The Mulberry runs the length of it's 110 acres.
THE TRIP: Our canoe trip will be from Byrd's Canoe Rentals to Turner Bend (see map)
about 7 miles or just over 3 hours, faster if the water stays high.

RESERVATIONS: Contact Mr. Coleman if would like to go with us.
DUDS: We must have at least two adults .
