To hike without a pack is such a joy.
The trail to Pecos Falls was a half a mile off the trail that we needed to take so we
dropped our packs and hiked to see the falls.

Our trail led along the Pecos River valley
Traveling north up the valley toward the Santa
Barbara Divide and the Skyline Trail our goal is the mountain in the distance.
Around the ridge to the right and a mile down
the wrong trail, but we did find a great campsite next to the river.
