Round Mountain
We started southwest of
Round Mountain and worked our way around it to the northeast
The trail led through tall aspen trees as we worked our way past Round Mountain
Then down a meadow northeast of Round Mountain
Pausing for a group picture
Round Mountain from the Northeast
Finally the Pecos River and then
Lunch and a well deserved break
Across the river and up the mountain
and then here comes the daily thunderstorm and rain
A large level campsite, time to kickback and build a fire to keep the biting flys away.
